What is relationship management & why is it so important?

If you ask what is the main performance that affects the business to achieve high success, the answer will be relationship management. Yes, there are a lot of factors that also have had a key role in the business but relationship management is very important. Relationship management includes strategies to contracture customer support for businesses and their offerings. Loyalty and reputation are very connected because loyalty contributes to a good reputation that’s why the main aim is to increase brand loyalty. Most often, relationship building happens at the client level, yet it is significant between organizations also.

What is Relationship Management?

Relationship management aims to create a partnership between the organization and its patrons, rather than seeing the relationship as mere transactions. The golden equation for success is mastering the four elements of emotional intelligence (self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship management) the goal behind emotional intelligence and life, in general, is to build healthy, strong, effective.

Relationships and to achieve this we will need skills:

Motivation: Enthusiasm to achieve the objective

Initiative: the power to take charge before

A good listener: interested and accept all opinions

Ability to inspire and influence others: capacity to inspire and persuade

Leadership:  be the unique person that others choose to follow

Time management: the process of planning and controlling how much time to spend on specific activities.

Collaboration: work on a team be one, all for one one for all

In order to achieve good results those skills should be practiced, by being professional on the way how we talk for example :

  • Repetition when a person say always: “like … ah … and … dude.” it sounds not professional and makes someone sound immature, avoids repetition.
  • Be selfless, unique, innovative, grateful you’ll be surprised how it will be beneficial to you.
  • When you are in presence with people  put the phone away if someone talks to you and you are only looking on your phone that looks disrespectful
  • Avoid being late on time It shows a lack of respect for the other person or people.
  • Respect people and treat them with kindness
  • To be more successful in managing your work I advise you to apply Henri’ fayol theory
  • Be helpful that gives a good feeling
  • Solve the conflicts with a good way and avoid anger

Avoid the Traditionalist vision and focus on having a High Performer understanding of emotions .for example the traditionalist compares Emotional Intelligence with being weak fearless and submissive. He thinks he should be he has to be super nice, overly polite, and that’s wrong, the difference between a high performer and the traditionalist is that the traditionalist has the vision that he shouldn’t talk or discuss because the others will judge on him wrong and he should always control it emotions in opposite with the high performer that take the initiative and make courage above fear A High Performer knows that positive feelings motivate him and others, build and create links of trust, increase confidence.

Relationship Management’s ( Emotional intelligence) concept focus on ability and the skills we need to develop we had to build relationship internal and external that’s the ability we’re going to develop this ability by 4 skills we will identify, analyze, manage, and develop. We have the ability of communication we need to be open ( accept all the opinions be neutral ), lead, persuade, inform.

Everybody’s desire to be successful and lovely from others and happy there are people gifted with emotional intelligence but since you want to acquire them you can if you try several times and you delete something called loss from your life.
